Dermal Fillers
A dermal filler is a gel made up of hyaluronic acid—a naturally occurring substance in your skin. The filler is injected into the skin in order to add volume and contour, and to smooth away lines and folds in the skin. This offers a non-surgical treatment to restore a more youthful, yet natural appearance to the skin.
Used to treat:
- Nasolabial folds (between the nose and the mouth) and smile lines around the mouth, sometimes called “parenthesis”
- Lip augmentation
- Perioral wrinkles (around the lips), also called pucker lines
- Marrionette lines (around the mouth)
