Surgical Treatments
Surgical treatments can help restore both the form and function of the eye and surrounding tissues. These procedures include corrective and reconstructive surgeries that improve eyelid function, repair lid position to reduce tearing and irritation of the eyes, improve tear drainage issues, and remove lesions and tissue samples for biopsies. All of the reconstructive procedures at Medical Eye Center are performed by Dr. Pete Spitellie, a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in ophthalmic cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
