Premium Lens Implants are a revolutionary advance over the standard intraocular lens (IOL). We are excited to be one of the first medical practices in the country to offer Premium Lens Implants for Refractive Lens Exhcange (RLE) patients and patients who choose Custom Cataract Surgery. ReSTOR®
The ReSTOR lens uses different fixed visual zones built into the optic of the lens. It offers a continuous range of vision for distance, intermediate, near and everything in between. This results in excellent visual acuity of nearby as well as faraway objects, allowing patients to read the print on medicine bottles, newspapers and magazines while also providing vision of distant objects.
Crystalens®
The Crystalens provides a continuous range of vision for distance, intermediate, near and everything in between. It has the ability to “accommodate,” or change shape, allowing it to focus on both distant and near objects. This type of lens is “hinged” so it can move back and forth as you constantly change focus on images around you.
