STACEY HOINS, OD
RESIDENCY TRAINED OPTOMETRIST
Dr. Stacey Hoins is an optometric physician therapeutically certified by the State of Oregon.
Dr. Hoins enjoys working in an eye care practice with a variety of patients of all ages. Trained to evaluate and manage a variety of ocular diseases, her responsibilities include adult primary eye care, pediatric primary eye care, contact lens fitting and evaluation, and diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease. She participates in cataract surgery pre- and post-operative care.
With extensive knowledge of LASIK, PRK, and other refractive surgery procedures, Dr. Hoins has worked with a large patient base and understands exam procedures and co-management. She also has experience from the patient’s perspective. Dr. Hoins has undergone prophylactic laser peripheral iridotomy, implantable collamer lens surgery, and LASIK. Experiencing these surgeries has given her a unique insight into providing patients with first-hand knowledge of what to expect during and after these procedures.
Dr. Hoins has a special interest in fitting scleral lenses and other medically necessary contact lenses. These lenses are used to rehabilitate vision in patients who have irregular ocular surfaces due to disease, trauma or other causes.
